FAQ
Q: Why is my avatar stuck in a tpose or apose?
A: We don't know the exact reason, but the theory is that these avatars
were uploaded on the avatars 2.0 system.
Q: Why is it that when I change into a specific avatar, it respawns me and
doesn't let me rejoin the game?
A: Certain avatars which don't possess a base animator with a unity avatar assigned are unable to sit in a VRCStation. This is most commonly the case with non-humanoid avatars. Stations are our main way of moving you around in the game world, and when you exit your station you are automatically respawned to avoid any issues which might result. As such you cannot use an avatar that is unable to use stations.
Q: Why am I able to break the in-game animation override?
A: We are using a station to override your avatar's animator. These animations override your tracking in the same way an animated emote does on your avatars expression menu; your head and hand movements are taken over by the animation. On most avatars, after you are done performing one of these emotes, it gives you back your tracking so your head and hands move like normal. Thus, your tracking returns, until the next time you move and the override animation disables it again. We've decided not to attempt to find a workaround to this and leave it in, because its neat.
